How to change the timestamp format displayed when undo / redo in vim?

Question

When canceling / repeating in vim, the status is displayed as follows:

1 change; before #33 12:03:05

Time format HH:MM:SS; but referring to this , it seems that there are four possible formats:

• N seconds ago
• HH: MM: SS (hour, minute, seconds)
• MM / DD HH: MM: SS (idem, month and day)
• YYYY / MM / DD HH: MM: SS (idem, with a year)

Can I change this timestamp format? Thank!

It seems not likely .

Perhaps you can use some plugin ( Gundo or undotree to name only two) to get the desired result.
