What is the difference between a passport-azure advertisement and a passport-azure-ad-oauth2

We have an application that is being developed using the MEAN stack. and we plan to use Azure AD for authentication.

Client side
In angular, client side resources are protected with adal JS library based on the article here

Server Side Node Web Interface
To protect the server side api web part, I followed an article here that uses the passport-azure-ad Node module. However, on the passportjs website, I came across another Node module passport-azure-ad-oauth2

So the question is, what is the difference between passport-azure-ad vs passport-azure-ad-oauth2

I support passport-azure-ad. passport-azure-adcomes from Microsoft and was created to support not only OAuth2, but also preview scripts such as B2C and B2B and soon our converged endpoint , which we announced at BUILD 2016.

passport-azure-ad-oauth2from Auth0 a team not related to Microsoft, but they go well with good documentation. I do not know their level of support for the other scenarios above.
