I am looking to build an application using property data. Nestoria has a free API and terms of use, and Zoopla has an API for which you register. OnTheMarket and Rightmove have the same conditions for using the letter (bizarre for competitors?). Rightmove advertises an API to download, but not to download - I can't find anything for OnTheMarket.
I found that Rightmove has an API, although the search in the zip code is confused by their own outcode mappings ...
https://api.rightmove.co.uk/api/sale/find?index=0&sortType=1&numberOfPropertiesRequested=2&locationIdentifier=OUTCODE%5E1&apiApplication=IPAD
I am afraid to use an API that is not progressing. An alternative is cleaning, which is more difficult from a technical and legal point of view, although from what I read, the data is freely available and therefore free to use.
I contacted Rightmove but did not receive a response.
Does anyone use the Rightmove api and has it enabled it? It seems most strange that it is open and accessible, but hardly mentioned in the search.
Can anyone clarify what rules / laws / ethics exist for data cleansing?
