Qt3d and oculus sdk

Given the structure of qt3d, is it possible to integrate oculus sdk with qt3d? I tried, but my two main obstacles are:

  • I cannot use textures from the texture changer created by oculus sdk as the target application for rendering.
  • I cannot call ovr_SubmitFrame at the end of each frame, since qt3d does not have a signal that would allow me to do this.

Has anyone successfully got oculus sdk to work with qt3d? If so, how did you overcome these problems?

Are there any plans to allow integration of VR SDK (and not just oculus) into qt3d in future versions?
