Building BoringSSL and Conscrypt and bundling with Android apk

Question

I am sure that I saw the official guide for this project on conscrypt website , but now I can not find it at all.

I am wondering if it is possible to build BoringSSL locally and make it accessible through JCE Providerie Conscrypt. I see that the BoringSSL project has build instructions , but cannot see anything about the Conscrypt bundle.

I dreamed about it, what did people do?

Perhaps updating the provider via GPlay is good enough, but I would like to avoid interacting with GPlay services, if possible (since this can be quite disappointing), but maybe in this case it is less than two evils!

EDIT: Just found this Barebone Conscript Scripting Guide. Conscrypt has a JNI component, but on condition that these are direct negotiations with BoringSSL. Quoting the BoringSSL insert

We do not recommend that third parties depend on this. This can be frustrating because there is no guarantee of API or ABI stability.

How can I make sure Conscrypt JNI -> BoringSSL are compatible versions? Interesting?
