Can ReSharper be used only as a test runner?

I don't really like ReSharper (don't get into it), but the test runner is better than VS Explorer by default. For example, VS does not handle test polymorphism well (or even at all), while ReSharper does. Is it possible to install and configure ReSharper so that it shuts down completely, with the exception of a test runner?

Consider installing JetBrains dotCover https://www.jetbrains.com/dotcover . This is the same test as in ReSharper.
