A strange yellow background appears in OSX Safari

I have this strange problem when the yellow color of the background appears, when I made a link to the language, when the submenu of the language is open. This seems to be caused by CSS rotation, which I use to animate the menu when it opens.

This is only visible on screens without a retina.

I know that when I comment on the CSS rotation needed for the animation to expand, it stops doing it. Removing rotation is not an option, though, since I want this particular animation.
