IIS 7 could not find the Microsoft.CodDom.Providers.DotNetCompilerPlatform.CSharpCodeProvider DLL

Therefore, when deploying our web service using a custom build configuration after deployment, I get an error message:

CodeDom provider type "Microsoft.CodeDom.Providers.DotNetCompilerPlatform.CSharpCodeProvider, Microsoft.CodeDom.Providers.DotNetCompilerPlatform, cannot be found.

when trying to view the site. Looking in the bin \ ~ configurationName ~ folder, I can find the specified DLL just fine. The error refers to these lines in my web.config:
