Kudan for Unity v1.1.3: Crash on Android / Failed to start application

I installed Kudan 1.1.3 in Unity 5.3.4. I followed the scene setup from the Kudan "Getting started" tutorial for sure. I click "build and run", everything looks fine, but as soon as you start with Nexus 9, the application dies immediately. I created a bug report with ADB, and now the crash narrowed to what I thought was necessary:

Everything looks fine until the line "kudan-ndk: check". I am not a professional using Android, but I read "Gotchas" at the bottom of this turotial page: https://wiki.kudan.eu/Unity
