What is the SSL certificate process with Volley on Android?

I am developing an Android application that requests a server with https. Thus, the server has a certificate. During development, I managed to trust all the certificates so as not to care about this at this stage of the project. When I am preparing the production phase, I would like to know how to use volley with https, authenticating the server. Should I import something into the application? Can someone explain to me how this works? Please do not give me just a tutorial to follow, I already found something, but it is difficult for me to understand this process, some explanations will be wonderful! Many thanks!

As long as the certificate comes from a valid Certificate Authority (CA), it will work as is.

This is the same with all https connections for Android.

You do not need to install certificates, etc. to your Android device.

(You should double check that the CA you are using is valid on android, as there are some that may not be compatible with this easily. Although most should be)
