OpenVAS scanning does not work - Kali linux

There is currently a problem with my kali VM. I installed Openvas, but when I try to run a check using the admin user, I get the following error message:

Operation: start the master Status code: 400 Status message: service is temporarily suspended

Has anyone experienced this before? Search the Internet and could not find a solution.

I used a virtual machine (virtual machine), getting error 400 first and later 503 with "Service temporarily down" when trying to scan.
