I am studying using Quill for a project, and I need to know if it is possible to create a custom format / blot with more complexity than one element and one parameter.
An example of one of the layouts I want is:
<span class="format-container">
<span class="format-info" data-attr="param 1 (non-displayed)">
param 2 (displayed to user -- click to invoke application UI to edit)
</span>
<span class="format-content">
User text/child elements go here
</span>
</span>
In all the cases that I am viewing, custom formats have built-in scope and still have one parent container and one place for child content.
Custom formats in Quill do not seem to be very well documented yet. I poked at the sources and was able to understand that this is most likely impossible in 0.20.1. However, I feel that this can be done in version 1.0.0 beta / Parchment, I'm just not sure about the specifics of what I really need to write.
1.0.0? , ?
