Publication from author to public in Magnolia CMS

Question

I'm just trying to use Magnolia CMS. I hit a stumbling block.

My steps:

• Next hi-magnolia . Everything works fine in Author (localhost) mode.
• Click Publish (including subnodes)
• Go to the public site (on my localhost http: // localhost: 8080 / magnoliaPublic / Hello-Magnolia )
• I get a 500 server error that looks like this:

HTTP status 500 - javax.servlet.ServletException: info.magnolia.rendering.engine.RenderException: info.magnolia.registry.RegistrationException: hi-magnolia: pages / hi

I tried to publish EVERYTHING in Author and restart the server, but still the error remains.

Any help would be great.

I was able to reproduce the same error without expanding the folder hello-worldin the instance . I just downloaded the latest version of Magnolia and the welcome world.

Most likely, you did not expand the folder hello-world(I downloaded and unpacked the full sample from the Magnolia widget site) before <magnolia-5.4.7>/apache-tomcat-7.0.64/webapps/magnoliaPublic, but only before <magnolia-5.4.7>/apache-tomcat-7.0.64/webapps/magnoliaAuthor.
