Complete list of deep link URI schemes

Where can I view a comprehensive list of applications and their corresponding deep-link URI schemes? (For example, Twitter twitter://and Facebook fb://.)

In addition, who controls their registration?

(This is a useful question, which I am surprised to have not received a definite answer for so long ...)

It is very likely that there is no complete list of URI schemes and applications that implement them. Such a list is likely to always be obsolete, it will lack some obscure applications and it will be so huge that it will have limited use.

There is, however, a list of URI schemes that are currently registered at http://www.iana.org/assignments/uri-schemes/uri-schemes.xhtml .

It is noteworthy that the two schemes mentioned in the original question for the poster are missing, and they are well known and widely used! This does not mean that these schemes are invalid, they simply are not registered.
