I remember that day with Android 2.x, applications could track logcat with READ_LOGS permission. Applications can even detect activity triggering from the logcat. However, this ceased with later versions of Android. Does anyone know which version of Android stopped this, and specifically, what was done to stop it? Was logcat unable to stop displaying these intentions, or was it already impossible for applications to view logcat data that did not belong to them?
Thank!
