Download the video and save it on your local device

I can’t download Google videos from the gallery. When I select a video, it selectedvideouriadds the content as follows:

content://com.google.android.apps.photos.contentprovider/2/2/mediakey%3A%2FAF1QipPrn64nUjcIvpCbT_nnKuQHf0mdI6HPc7xMxI9t/ORIGINAL/NONE/418007042

and throws an exception

java.net.MalformedURLException: Unknown protocol: content

How to solve this?

Your selected video contains content://com.google.android.apps.photos.contentprovider/2/2/mediakey%3A%2FAF1QipPrn64nUjcIvpCbT_nnKuQHf0mdI6HPc7xMxI9t/ORIGINAL/NONE/418007042 what is not a URLvideo.

You should receive the URLvideo and then transfer it to the loader

And it URLwill take the form https://drive.google.com/file/video.mp4or something like that. And he will point to a valid video file stored on a Google drive.
