Alexa uses a custom date slot

So, I am working on a project with Amazon Echo. My goal is to write down when I did a certain action, and write it to the database. My problem is time, and I avoid it by using the time of an era. However, from what I can say about custom slots for intent, my options are formatted date strings without any time or formatted time strings without dates, and, among other things, I cannot capture the client’s time zone without in in particular, querying it based on some forum posts that I found using my google fu.

Are echoes just hateful dates? It seems like it should be very simple, but I'm struggling to figure out how to do it without being very uncomfortable and ask where they live, so I can find their time zone. I already had to make a strong point to tell them the specific time when they did something, when they did something long ago, because I can not transfer the dates to Echo and expect him to translate it. Is this another dumb core I have to do?

That's right, you cannot get client TZ or location from Alexa. This is a privacy issue. The only way is to ask him yourself.
