How to install ico that I want to use as an application icon in C #?

The icon that I set in the properties is displayed on the taskbar, and when in the application window, but the application icon in Explorer is different.

Could it be that the application icon that you installed has different images for different icon sizes, and that is why you see the difference in the explorer?

To verify this, open your icon in Visual Studio. Various permissions are listed (on my screen on the left). If you don’t want to create all the permissions, just delete the ones you don’t need and Windows will try to resize the icons for you, although they will appear blocky in a different resolution.

Ok I think I got this:

You set the Icon property of your frame, not the application. Since the frame gets its own entry in the taskbar, you see the correct icon there.

, . "" ( "" ). , .exe , .

If you use Visual Studios, this can be set in the Application Properties (I think this is the project menu). This is the same place where you set your resources, target .net, etc.
