OpenID on the community server

Question

Ok, I asked on Community Server forums and was completely ignored. So I will ask here. The OpenID provider (presumably janrain) for CommunityServer does not work with the OpenID SSL endpoint. I really don’t know the endpoint without SSL OpenID, and even if I did ... I’m not sure if I want to use it.

I have a community server installation, and all my users complain that the registration / login form supports openid support, but in fact it is not. Has anyone encountered this problem and addressed it?
