I need to reinstall IIS 7.0 on Vista due to some unresolved configuration issues.
I thought it was easy: I removed all the IIS-related things in "Programs / Features", restarted the system, installed all the IIS modules again (cd installation is not needed), and hmm .. everything looks the same - I mean not that . I see all configured websites, modules, pools, etc.
Is there any smart way to get a CLEAN installation with CLEAN files / metabase / configuration / clean installation files? Reinstalling the entire OS is not a good solution.
