Is this laptop good enough for Visual Studio?

Question

For HP 2133 Mini:

• 1.2 GHz processor
• 1 GB RAM
• Windows XP
• 5400 RPM HDD

I plan to install Visual Studio 2005 (assuming it will be faster than 2008). I saw the https://stackoverflow.com/questions/8440/visual-studio-optimizations question, so I will take them to my account.

But do you think Visual Studio 2005 will work at an acceptable speed using this equipment?

The idea is that I will use this laptop with some presentation, and if I need to debug or hack it along the way, I have to do it. There will be no real developments except for small hacks (hopefully!).

a 4: 3 screen will be much better than 16: 9, you will have much more vertical space
