The source code explorer shows pending changes, but does not appear in the pending changes window.

In TFS Source Control Explorer, it shows pending changes (edit, [more]) under my name, but pending changes are not displayed in the Pending Changes window.

I thought a few months ago that my Visual Studio crashed and some files were extracted at that time (which I did not know about, due to the nature of the automatic TFS check). Because of this, I copied the new VMImage without undoing the pending changes (which are currently displayed in the Source Control Explorer).

One of my team members wants to check out the new version of this particular file. Now I need to undo the pending changes.

  • Use Tfs Query to find pending changes and what workspace they are waiting for.

Another option is to permanently or temporarily grant them rights to overwrite your lock. Then he can register anyway.

Sometimes I can’t block a branch because users have something checked, but when I ask them about it, they are waiting for merges / changes, only folders do not have objects to change. What's up with that?
