Silverlight 4 and WPF compatibility

So, if I created a Silverlight application, can I take the + markup code and put it in a WPF application? I was just wondering if we decide to use Silverlight, can I also take advantage of Windows WPF clients.

This MSDN article may be a good reference as to where SL4 and WPF4 diverge:

You can always get Silverlight to launch Out-Of-Browser, just keep in mind that you have an isolated security sandbox that you don't have with WPF. Silverlight will also be able to run on a Macintosh without using Mono, which can be useful.
