Reset my local workspace

I have a very large TFS project where my local copies of the copies were repaired without repair. What is the best way to get rid of my local copy and get a new one that won't make the server copy explode or make me redo the map manually?

If you open Source Control Explorer and open the Edit Workspaces dialog box, this will allow you to delete the existing workspace and create a new one.

When you create a new one, you can explicitly choose which server paths should be mapped to each local path. You should only have a mapping of directories that you really need.
