JQuery, Nivo Dropdown

I have this site where I use both nivoslider and my own dropdown menu, but, as it happens when the slider shows an image, the menu is behind the slide show. This can be seen on the website you are working on if you hover "Bilservice"

I tried z-index and what not, but I can not get it to work? is something missing here? all help is much appreciated

to fix chrome, try changing the CSS stylesheet, style.css, on line 148, adding z-index: -50;

#slideshow { margin-top: 30px; height: 270px; -moz-border-radius: 5px; -webkit-border-radius: 5px; border-radius: 5px; border-bottom: 3px solid black; background-color: #999; overflow: hidden; z-index: -50; }

Very true, your Z sub-category / pop-up menu Z-index should be higher than the nivoslider z-index, which is 10 by default.

just fix z-index: 9999; for the dropdown menu and if .nivoslider has a value other than 10, make sure your z-index of your menu is larger than nivoslider.

The .nivo_slice class has a higher z index than the drop-down list. If you change it, so the submenu has a higher z index than the .nivo_slice class, it should fix it.

It is right. This is the z-index value of your menu. The menu should have a higher z-index value in css than the slider.

Look in your css template and check your z-index of your menu, and then check:

../WP -content/ Plugins / Nivo Easy Slider / Third-Party / Nivo -slider.css

../WP -content/ Plugins / Simple Nivo Slider / CSS / Simple Nivo-slider.css

Just make sure your z-index menu is higher than the slider. It worked for me.
