Ctrl-Shift-I will open Chrome development tools. I guess this is what you wanted.

To view Ajax requests, click "Network" and you will see all network requests. By default, you see them all, although you can filter them and just view Ajax requests. Take a look at the bottom of the Network tab; you’ll see Docs, Style Sheets, etc. You want "XHR".

Yes, you can do it. Turn it on from the chrome console settings.

  • Press ctrl + shift + I
  • Click the gear icon in the lower right.
  • check "Log XMLHttpRequests" in the section of the console section.

Here it is.

Chrome Developer Tools will provide you with this and more. Click on the wrench and select Tools-> Developer Tools.

I believe that they were open by Apple - great things.

If you want to use Firebug in Chrome for the console, use the Firebug Lite extension for Chrome.
