UK API Travel Information?

I want to add some train price data to a UK travel event that I am planning.

Does anyone know an API that will provide information on train schedules and prices? We can get this information through thetrainline.com or raileasy - although I do not need any booking objects. Google did not get much information on this ...

Do not worry too much about what is written in the api, as I can wrap it if necessary :)

ATOCs who work with National Rail Inquiries own this data. You will need to license it from them. General T & Cs here .

If this is a nonprofit job, they may turn a blind eye to operations like screencraping, as I believe what they do with http://traintimes.org.uk/

There's a National Rail Requests API, but you'll have to pay licensing fees for this - the Travel Association has objected to those trying to create an Android widget to represent departure times, and then changed the SOAP headers. that this requires a token that they will issue to registered users. For licensing information, you must contact nrelicensing@atoc.org.

Obtaining such information is particularly difficult in Europe. Especially in the UK.
