The developer tools in IE8 / 9 are pretty sucking so that I give Firebug Lite. So far, this completely defeats the goal. Any tips on how to enable it? The Bookmarklet link on the Firebug site does not work in any browser that I am trying ...
I am doing CSS3 fallback stuff in JS and want to get more details than [object Object] in IE. I came up with a suggestion in this thread: jQuery logging in IE: how to get an object?
I include Firebug in my <head> document immediately after several meta statements:
<script src="https://getfirebug.com/firebug-lite.js"></script>
I am not getting any output from my document.ready document or anything else for that matter. When I exit the script, I get the log entries as usual.
Has anyone got Firebug Lite to work? What the hell is a Firebug Lite clause if it suppresses magazine claims? I do not spend much time on this, but I thought that if someone earns money, it might be useful.
