Pigt installation does not work

I work on Windows (64-bit) and I have python 2.7 (also 64-bit) installed. I downloaded the all-in-one installer for pygtk for python 2.7, but when I run it, it shows that "python 2.7 cannot be located on your system." Why is this so when I already have python 2.7 installed?

Currently, the all-in-one installer binaries here are compiled with only 32-bit python. There are no 64 bits in it. Install python 2.7 32 bit on your windows and it should work.

Alternatively, you can grab the C compiler and then try to compile the installation sources . This is much more complicated.

Have you installed the 64-bit Python interpreter? The most likely reason for this post is that the all-in-one installer cannot find the 32-bit Python interpreter (which works fine on 64-bit Windows).
