IOS - What is the procedure for updating the initialization profile in Xcode

It seems that every time I update my preparation profile, my xcode project still ends up pointing to the previous profile (I get the message "Code sign error: Provisioning profile (long line).") This means that I it is necessary to manually search and replace with my profile codes in the project, as described here: Codesign error: profiling profile was not found after deleting the expired profile

I need to think that I am doing something wrong, as it happens every time ... What is the procedure for adding a profile to a device, exporting a profile and updating my project with a new profile?

thanks

I simply delete the previous positions from my organizer to add to a new one with additional devices added.

In Xcode 5, you have to go to Settings β†’ Apple ID β†’ View Details, and then click the small update button in the lower left corner. This will update all your training profiles.

  • (optional) Delete an old profile in Organizer / Provisioning Profiles (if not used anymore, for example, only a new device added)
  • Add a new profile in Organizer / Provisioning (Drag & Drop) profiles
  • If you run Xcode 4, be sure to change the profiles for project purposes and

... Sometimes you need to reopen a project or even restart Xcode (I don't know when and why).

UPDATE:

It turns out that it is better to download the new / changed provisioning profile from the developer's portal and double-click it in Finder. The Mac will install it in the right place and you don’t need to do acrobatic material below.

ORIGINAL:

For Xcode 7.1, you should do the following:

  • Go to Settings> Accounts
  • delete the corresponding dev account.
  • Add account again.
  • Click "View Details" in your account.
  • Click "Download All" below.

This will delete the entire local cache and then extract the profiles from the server.

I just had an explosion with this when I tried to add the device to the preparation profile for testing. Thanks for making it so hard, Apple!
