I'm trying to configure authentication in an ASP.NET MVC application, and if so, use the Azure Access Control Service (ACS) (May 2, 2011 release). This works for me with the default setting. However, there is a usability problem.
When I authenticate my Google account ... Google says. mydomain.accesscontrol.windows.net requesting access to an account. This can be confusing for end users as they expect to use login.mydomain.com .
I specified the CNAME DNS record from login.mydomain.com to mydomain.accesscontrol.windows.net and uploaded the X.509 certificate for login.mydomain.com through the access control dashboard. however, I get a server error when I try to access https://login.mydomain.com , since the certificate sent to the browser is for *.accesscontrol.windows.net . NB. I donβt see what the error is like on Azure AzS server.
Has anyone here been able to successfully configure their own domain for ACS and can advise how to do this? It seems that this is possible for Roles and storage accounts, but I can not find the documentation for this group for AppFabric.
