Windows Mobile Development Not Available in Visual Studio 2010

Well, everyone knows that the Microsoft Visual Studio Team abandoned Windows Mobile Development when it came to Visual Studio 2010.

Instead, we should use the Windows 7 Phone SDK .

At the same time, our factory still has hundreds of old portable Windows Mobile 5 and 6 devices for scanning packets and transmitting data over our internal wireless network.

So, is there an alternative development method in Visual Studio 2010 that will create an application that can run on one of these old platforms?

In particular, I think of the website as a Silverlight application. As far as I know, Silverlight does not start on Windows Mobile 5 or 6, but there is an idea.

I do not think that there is an official way to use VS2010 for older mobile development. Instead, he suggested that you insert VS2008 or VS2005 SE for development.
