Catalina.home not recognized by intellij

I use the owner of the place to refer to the file, it works during deployment, but intellij does not collect the catalina home. I tried setting the varibale and path variable in intellij ide settings, it doesn’t matter, it still shows an error (which causes my data source ideally). Instead, I could place the conf file in the project directory, but then the project will not be portable; other tomcat installs without further hacking.

Darcula oo eerr, catalina home is a problem

Of course, is there a way that intellij will recognize and correctly refer to $ {catalina.home} in my spring context?

Sys variable set ok:

This is apparently an open mistake . However, a workaround for me is to simply copy the properties file to the project workspace (in my case direcrtory resources), but save applicationContext.xml with ${catalina.home} .

Intellij then selects the property values, and then the data source can be easily configured.
