Why is there an excessive gap with the Facebook comment plugin?

I'm struggling with why the Facebook comment module on some of our pages has excessive spaces when browsing pages using a mobile browser.

After debugging for several hours, I have now highlighted a specific code and it still plays. Initially, I thought this was due to Twitter Bootstrap, but I compared it with it and without it, and the same error occurs.

Compare this option with the download: http://jsfiddle.net/trevin/uW8fz/

but that doesn’t mean: http://jsfiddle.net/trevin/uW8fz/

Both have the same problem.

If you are not logged in, you will see approximately 200 pixels of space. However, if you are logged in, you will see the first comment plugin, and then a huge amount of spaces.

I have no idea what causes this ... any ideas? Is this a bug in the comment plugin for mobile users?

I had the same problem and finally it turned out that adding mobile = "false" to the div element solved my problem for the mobile fb comment block and an extra space at the bottom.

This seems to be a bug with Facebook. A built-in style is added that sets the height. See more details.
