Reverb effect in iPhone application

Question

Can someone point out pointers how we can add a re-verb effect to entries in an iPhone app?

Vocal live free in the app store is a pretty good example of how I want to turn on the reverb effect.

A review of Core Audio in the iOS documentation refers to reverb as an audio device.

Any help other than this would be helpful.

If you have access to raw audio, you can simply drill it with an appropriate filter with a finite impulse response (FIR) filter.
