Generating PDF from HTTPS causes error

I use Winnovative PDF Converter to create PDF files from HTML (URL)

When you launch a button on an HTTP web page to create a PDF file from an HTTP URL, this works fine.

However, when I launch a button on an HTTPS web page to create a PDF file from an HTTP URL, I get an error:

Failed to display url. Failed to get image from url.Navigation Timeout ..

Why is this happening and how can I prevent it?

Please note: I do not get an error when creating an HTTPS PDF page, I get an error when creating a web request from an HTTPS page to create a PDF
