How to copy, cut and paste files into FireMonkey constructor - HD Form

I'm trying to write my first firemonkey app - HD

  • Building a firemonkey app - HD
  • Put TLabel on the form and change its name.
  • Choose TLabel

Select Modify from the drop-down menu. Why are all editing options disabled?

OR

In the main menu at the top of the screen, select "Edit." Why are all editing options disabled?

Question: What am I doing wrong?

An error. Select another tab and back (or F12 to text and vice versa), and the Edit menu works correctly. Click on anything except the form and it will stop working.

In a similar vein, sometimes strokes of F12 to get from the text to display the form will also not work (change the tabs again and back).

The error, however, if you check the Edit from the main menu, and not the right click, you will see that all options are enabled.

I use XE6, and while working with cropping (inserts can be pasted into notepad), pasting fails even with the F12 and click-tab tricks.
