Ctrl + Shift + F4 will close the most recently used tab in any ReSharper tool window. Shift + Esc will close the tool window. Esc inside the tool window will focus the code editor.

I use Ctrl + F4.

Shift + Esc does not work for me, although "Options ... Keyboard" "Window.CloseWindow" shows Shift + Esc. (VS 2013, R # 8.2)

Finding use is a tool window, like any other, so the shortcut to close it is Shift + Esc (or, if that doesn't work, check what it says in VS Tools | Options... , Keyboard , Window.CloseToolWindow ).

TOLD that I was always a bit foggy how to use the keyboard to get focus to / from the Windows toolbar - Ctrl + Tab works fine from the code window into the Window Tool, but it doesn't always work to pull you out ...
