IPhone URL scheme for iPhone

Am I using the skype: username? URL scheme? call, to immediately launch the Skype application directly into the call, and was going to implement the skype URL scheme: username? chat to run it directoy into chat ... although the chat diagram doesn’t work on the iPhone at all, other tests seem to indicate that the call diagram is currently the only one that really works out of many others for which I saw the documentation. I ran a test a few weeks ago and could have sworn that the chat scheme is working, and then I updated to my new release of the application and it left.

I just saw things and they were never there? Or did it really just disappear in this latest release? I posted this on Skype forums, which so far have not received a single response and almost no views, for more than a week.

Microsoft states in its IOS URI tutorial :

With the recent redesign of Skype for iOS client, URIs are not currently supported in the Skype branch for iOS 5.x.

Unfortunately, the Skype application still registers the skype: URL scheme (but actually does nothing but launch the application), so we can’t even check if the problem is fixed.

Have you tried it on multiple devices and with different versions of the Skype iOS software?

It seems like this should work. I often use handleopenurl to search for URLs for specific URLs, and they seem to have the chat URL that you provided below their list for skype .
