Netbeans 7 / 7.1 javafx GUI designer / builder

Is there any GUI builder for JavaFX2 in Netbeans 7.0 / 7.1? In previous versions of Netbeans, I used the "JavaFX Composer" plugin, but it looks like the plugin is not available for 7.0 and 7.1.

Do you have any suggestions?

thanks

Yes, there is one GUI tool: JavaFX Scene Builder.

You can download it from:

http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javafx/downloads/devpreview-1429449.html#sb

Proceed to download JavaFX Scene Builder.

There is also an installation tutorial:

Netbeans 7.1 beta supports it, as you can read here: http://netbeans.org/community/releases/71/

Not.

Or rather, not yet. JavaFX Scene Builder is under development, see https://forums.oracle.com/forums/thread.jspa?threadID=2298158 . I assume it will be integrated into Netbeans.

not now, it seems that the creator of the scene will be available in the third quarter of 2012.

you can see the javafx roadmap.

The official JavaFx Scene Builder tool. It creates an FXML file with all components. You can ask questions and report problems in the Oracle Forum

When we right-click the FXML file in netbeans and select Open, then the NetBeans IDE will automatically find the most recently installed Builder script.

if NetBeans cannot find the installed script:

  • From the main menu, select Tools and select "Options."

  • In the Options window, select Java, and then the JavaFX tab.

  • Specify the location of the Scene Builder installation folder and click OK.
