Explanation / documentation of the macro defining the project leiningen

Leiningen defproject macro is an important part of Clojure projects. However, information / documentation about this seems very scarce.

What are all the parameters supported by defproject and what are they used for?

AFAIK sample project.clj shows all available configuration options, all with usage descriptions.
