WIX - Automatic Updates

I have a standalone installation project created using wix. And I need some autoupdate solution for my application. My shuold application checks for a new version at startup and automatically downloads and installs a new version, if available.

What is the best solution for this? Is there something similar to ClickOnce on wix? ClickThrough seems dead, am I right?

Update: re clickthrough ... when I print this, v3.6 was released, 3.7 is the next version to be released soon, and ClickThrough is not dead, but it is now scheduled to be released in WiX 4.0 ref: See Robs comment on August 28 .
