Eclipse EE: Change Launcher Icon

Question

Perhaps my question is stupid. But when I switch from the regular version to the EE version (for web development), I really don't like the new EE version icon. (I like the classic eclipse icon better).

So, can we change this icon? (because the eclipse.exe icon is the same on both versions, it’s just great at work, but I looked through all the directories and I don’t know where the eclipse download icon is located)

In the eclipse folder, locate the j2ee plugin directory. For example:

 c:\Program Files (x86)\Eclipse\plugins\org.eclipse.epp.package.jee_1.5.0.20120131-1544\ 

The about.ini file contains the icon for use in this folder:

 featureImage=javaee-ide_x32.png 

You can copy the original Eclipse icon (eclipse32.png) to this folder and change the entry in about.ini to

 featureImage=eclipse32.png 

Alternatively, you can replace the icons with the original ones and leave the about.ini file unchanged.
