Facebook as a button: hide text

I just added a Facebook button to my site, the easiest, but you can’t choose to hide “Sign up to see what your friends love”. text.

Since the area for the button is so small, I do not want this text, since it overlaps with another text next to it.

Is there any way to hide this part? Basically I just want a type button with the same functionality.

You can add layout = "simple" (XFBML) or "data-layout" = "simple" for HTML5 in the tag.

It will be displayed only as a button, without counters, faces or nonsense :)

You probably would have understood this, but for others who did not, and ask this question, try data-layout = "button_count".
