Is the iphone simulator brightness adjustable?

I tried to use most of the correct answers suggested by users to adjust the brightness of the iphone (ie [[UIScreen mainScreen]setBrightness:0.0]; ), but the simulator did not change its brightness. Is the iphone simulator brightness adjustable?

IPhone simulator brightness is not adjustable, you need to try in a real device!

IPhone Simulator is not a hardware simulator. It simulates some hardware features, but basically it is a simulator for iOS. You will need to register the device and test to check if your code is working correctly.
