Is there a ready-made calendar for iPhone applications?

I am creating an iPhone application that displays upcoming and past events. I settled on viewing the list, but then I realized that the calendar (like the one that is displayed in the month view in the built-in Calendar application) would be the best.

However, the iPhone Interface Guide just mentions the Date Picker, not the calendar, so I think there's nothing like that. It's true? If so, does anyone know about third-party controls that can be used? (I could write one myself, but I would rather pick up something ready-made, as this is a departure from the original plans of the project).

Yes.

This is the option that I know of:

EDIT: as of May 6, 2010

1) GCCalendar

2) http://github.com/klazuka/Kal

3) http://code.google.com/p/iphonecal (you need to configure - easy - change the text from Chinese to English)

4) Commercial: http://nrg.com.bd/blog/archives/36 , but the look of the previous ones looks much better and they are free if you can fulfill your licenses.

Hope this helps.

A slightly newer competitor that works better in the iOS7 world, TimesSquare .

I used Tapku for a long time, but did not find it so flexible, and the code is really hard to change.

There is also a new custom visual calendar for the new version for iOS 8+, written in Swift (2.0) CVCalendar . It provides easily customizable calendar management for iOS.

DDCalendarView , which is similar to iCal. It has both ObjectiveC and Swift version of the code. Currently, it shows only daily events. we need to develop an interface to support weekly and monthly events. The event classes used in this calendar are not inherited from the EKEventKit classes.
