Standalone Wamp Server Error

Some of you may get the "Server offline" error after installing WAMP on your Windows 7 system. This happens if the IIS server was installed on the system before installing WAMP, thereby creating a collision of the port address where both servers are trying to access

First of all, if you are using SKYPE, try changing the port by opening Skype, then:

  • Service menu
  • Options
  • Extra options
  • Connections
  • Then uncheck "Use port 80 and 443 ..."
  • save
  • restart skype

second, if the problem still exists, try to find whether you are using - or using another Apache server (for example, the XAMPP server), if this tries to remove it and after removing it, go to regedit:

  • press the "window" button on the keyboard + the "r" button, the "Run" command will open
  • enter "regedit" (without "")
  • open the "Edit" menu, then "Find" (you can press the "CTRL" + "F" button)
  • looking for something belongs to another apache server and delete it (you have to be careful while you do this step)

I don’t know if you found the answer, but my problem was running. I think it works on port 80. Closing the solution to the problem.
