Which structure is best for beginners with responsive web design?

My goal is to run mobile-friendly websites faster and more suitable for different screen resolutions. Can anyone with experience in CSS recommend which CSS framework is best to start with:

  • Zurb Foundation
  • Less Framework 4
  • Columnal
  • Bootstrap
  • Frameless

What are the pros and cons for each of them? Feel free to suggest anything that is not indicated.

Once the site is built, can I easily add sliders, effects or jQuery animations?

In my opinion, there is one book that explains everything, anything, and everything that you might want to know. If you are just starting out in responsive web design, I would start with this:

Responsive Web Design - Ethan Marcott

As I understand it, Ethan is known as the "guy who started the movement." I personally can confirm that the book has helped me tremendously. I'm not even sure you need to use a framework. If you first enter the code of your website with best practices and make it as flexible as possible (even if you exchange a frame with a width of 960 pixels), then resizing down from there using CSS multimedia queries is quick. I also checked Mobile First by Luke Wroblewski .

You can even buy these books as a package. They read quickly, you can read each of them during the day. These two books made me react to web design, I could not offer to check them enough!

I read both books mentioned, which are great.

I really like the Zurb Foundation. I created several sites with it and had no problems. I found it easy to expand - it's easy to create a prototype, which will then be fully released. (I use version 2 - there is V3, but V3 refused IE7 support)

The new tool someone in the office was playing with was jetstrap.com

Allow you to visually execute flexible layouts - you can check the code and see how to do it and can be a good way to get started.

I can't really help, because I still want to try one of these adaptive frameworks too much. I also want to know the pros and cons of each.

+1 for the Gumby Framework. And before you work with Gumby and others, you must understand what is happening. So read the book of Ethan Marcott.
