7Zip add encryption to files

Question

I have a .7z archive that I manage with 7zFM (File Manager) and I can easily add objects to this archive. However, the objects in the archive are encrypted using AES, as if I want them to be, but when I add something new, I can not add encryption to this file in the archive unless I decrypt the entire archive and then close it.

Is there an easy way to add encryption or maybe remove the encryption of certain files in a .7z archive?

• Select new files to add.
• Right-click (context menu) → 7-Zip → Add to Archive ..
• Select an existing archive
• Encryption, enter password
• Click OK
