Why doesn't my license appear?

In my <Product> I have:

 <WixVariable Id="WixUILicenseRtf" Value="LICENSE.rtf" />

LICENSE.rtf exists and is an rtf file (I tried to save several programs in case this is a problem with one of them).

The file contains text (the whole license!), And the text is clearly formatted.

Why, then, is my Installer's License field blank?

Turns out you basically have to generate your rtf using Wordpad or make a perfect copy. Since mine are generated by scripts, I adjusted my script to insert the Wordpad header into the rtf file, and this fixed it.
